Supervisors Approve Courthouse Entry Door Replacement Vendor

Oskaloosa, Iowa – In regular session on Tuesday, September 6th, the Mahaska County Board of Supervisors approved seven payroll changes. Four of those changes were in the Sheriff’s office, while three additional payroll changes were for secondary roads.

The Board also approved Bradley Grefe, from Area 15 Regional Planning, to be a designate for the County with hazard mitigation plans and their submittal to Homeland Security.

The Board also approved Strauss Security as the vendor for courthouse entry door replacement and card readers.

Also approved was clarification in regard to the health plan certificate, to help better define what will take place when employment is ended with the County.

The Board also approved Tim Van Maanen to the Compensation Board. The vote was 2-1, with Van Weelden the dissenting vote.

The next meeting for the Mahaska County Board of Supervisors will be on September 19, 2016.
