Sybil was united in marriage to James Puls, Sr. on August 13, 1952 at the Trinity Lutheran Church north of Malcom. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Grinnell Eagles Auxiliary, Malcom Legion Auxiliary, and a forty-three year member of the Grinnell Women’s Bowling League. She was an excellent cook and an immaculate housekeeper. She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Her enjoyments included golfing, bowling, watching Iowa Hawkeyes basketball games on TV, canning vegetables from her garden, and listening to country western music.
