Obituary:
Randall J. Babcock was born on July 20, 1956 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Richard (Jim) Babcock and Naomi (Thompson) Babcock.
Randy grew up in Cedar Falls, graduating with the Cedar Falls High School class of 1975. Following graduation Randy enlisted in the United States Army where he served from July 29, 1975 until March 22, 1978. He loved listening to all kinds of music especially if it was loud.
Randy passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at his home at the age of 54 years, 7 months and 25 days.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Randy is survived by his parents, Jim and Naomi Babcock of St. Pete Beach, Florida; sister, Sandi Jakel and niece, Melissa Jakel both of Cedar Falls, along with other relatives and many friends.
