Piet Again Earns First-Team Laurel

Oskaloosa–Aidan Piet (Jr., Meridian, Idaho, Business Management) represented the William Penn men’s bowling team on the postseason list as the 2025-2026 all-Heart of America Athletic Conference teams were announced Sunday, presented by Athletic Solutions and Baron.

Piet was named to the five-person first squad. The second team and honorable-mention crew also consisted of five individuals each.

The award is the third for Piet in his career, all coming as a first-teamer.

The junior paced the Statesmen to eight top-half finishes this year and a berth in next month’s USBC Sectionals where WPU will enter at No. 47.

Piet currently owns a 204.8 average in 38 games with a high game of 258. He has finished in the top 10 on one occasion and has twice been in the top 25.

Mount Mercy’s Blake Walsh was tabbed as Heart Player of the Year, while teammate Jacob Bockstie received Rookie of the Year accolades. The league’s Newcomer of the Year award was given to Camryn Stefanini of Clarke, while the Mount Mercy coaching staff earned Coach of the Year recognition.
