Pancake feed full of enjoyment and music

The kick-off to this years Christmas Walk was the pancake feed at the center court of Penn Central Mall. Pancakes, sausage and coffee were provided for a free will donation with half the funds going to Ecumenical Cupboard and the remainder is used to help cover advertising expenses of promoting the all day event coordinated by the Oskaloosa Area Chamber and Development Group.

With lots of food, and live music provided by Beth Brostrom of Music Square in Oskaloosa, it seemed to provide a festive start to what many of the retailers described as a good day.

The breakfast lasted from 8:00 am to 10:00 am November 27th 2010, with visitors then beginning the new Christmas Walk.
