Bowling Teams Ranked in Top 50

Oskaloosa–The Statesmen and Lady Statesmen bowling teams are among the nation’s best as they enter their holiday trip to Gambling Capitol USA next week.

The women’s squad is taking center stage so far this season by being ranked 19th as of December 2 on collegebowling.com.

The navy and gold, led by Breanne Underwood (Grad., Treynor, Iowa, Master’s of Business Leadership), have posted three top-ten finishes, including placing fourth at the Warhawk Open two weeks ago. Underwood ranks 99th with a 186.8 scoring average.

The men are 43rd nationally, also posting three top-tens (high of sixth in October). Cameron Foster (Jr., West Jordan, Utah, Business Management) headlines the team with a ranking of 60th (206.0 avg.).

Lindenwood (Mo.) is the top women’s program, while Robert Morris (Ill.) leads the men’s rating.

William Penn travels to Las Vegas, Nev. next week to compete in a pair of tournaments.
