Oskaloosa–The Lady Statesmen golf team will venture into the offseason as one of the better teams in the nation as the NAIA’s postseason top 25 poll was released Friday.

William Penn is 36th with five points, moving back into the rating after not holding a spot in the final regular season poll.

National champion British Columbia takes over #1 with 343 points and all 13 first-place votes. SCAD Savannah (Ga.) is second with 332 points, while Embry-Riddle (Fla.), William Woods (Mo.), and Oklahoma City round out the top five.

Grand View is the only team from the Midwest Collegiate Conference as well as the state of Iowa in the top 25, owning the 23rd position.

William Penn won three events and recorded four runner-up finishes during the 2011-2012 season.
