Three Claim CSC Academic All-District Accolades
Oskaloosa–Three members of the William Penn football team were honored for strong 2025 seasons in and out of the classroom as they earned academic all-district honors from College Sports Communicators.
Liam Bryant (Sr., Jackson, Mo., Physical Education) tops the trio with a 3.98 Grade Point Average. Hayden Vandenberg (So., West Burlington, Iowa, Physical Education) was next with a 3.80 mark, while Dylan Frulla (Sr., Cordova, Tenn., Exercise Science) held a 3.52 GPA during the fall semester.
Bryant and Frulla were major cogs in an offensive line that led the Statesmen to average 422.1 yards and 39.6 points.
Vandenberg was an all-Heart of America Athletic Conference honoree as a longsnapper.
The crew helped WPU to a school-record 11 wins (11-2 overall) and an appearance in the NAIA Football Championship Series Second Round.
The award combines both athletic and academic achievements. To be eligible for the award, individuals must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been enrolled at the nominating institution for one year (transfers use grades from their previous institution), and have a 3.50 Grade Point Average. Additionally, individuals must compete in 90% of games or start in at least 66% of games.
