Southern Iowa Speedway Season Opener Reset

Oskaloosa, Iowa: The 2019 Southern Iowa Speedway season opener has fallen victim to the lingering cold wet spring that we have been enduring. The Monster ½ mile dirt track located on the Mahaska County Fairgrounds will now see the first green flag of the season on Wednesday, April 10th. The Caleb Hammond Memorial race scheduled to open the 2019 season on Tuesday, April 2nd will now be held during the Southern Iowa Fair on Tuesday, July 16 and will feature the four weekly classes of cars plus the Modifieds will also be in action.

The Kraig Ford/Pella Motors Season Opener on Wednesday, April 10th will see hot laps take to the track at 7 pm with racing to follow. Racing action will be contested in four divisions, Midstates Machine Stock Cars, Oskaloosa EZ Sales and Rental Sportmods, Parker Tree Service Hobby Stocks and Autocrafters Compacts. The Southern Iowa Speedway will again offer fan friendly pricing with adult admission being only $8, Active and Retired Military will be $5, ages 6-15 will be admitted for only $3 and under 6 will be FREE.
