July 3rd, 2013 – Oskaloosa, IA – The Oskaloosa Public Library invites patrons of all ages to an upcoming puppet show called “Can You Dig It” by performer Kevin Horner. The show will be held Tuesday July 9th at 10:00 a.m. on the third floor of the library in meeting room A. Library doors will open at 9:50 a.m. to accommodate all patrons.

Well known among Iowa librarians and teachers, Kevin Horner has been an illusionist and ventriloquist for 13 years. Throughout the summer, he travels throughout Iowa and the Midwest, offering performances for children. In addition to the “Can You Dig It” show, Kevin also holds programs that deal with bullying. The Oskaloosa Public Library’s summer reading theme for children is Dig Into Reading. There are also programs for teens and adults. Patrons can earn a variety of prizes by reading for pleasure and completing reading logs. For more information on any of the Library’s programs, please visit the website or stop by the library.
