Oskaloosa 8th Grade Girls Win Over Oskaloosa Christian

Oskaloosa and Oskaloosa Christian squared off on Tuesday afternoon at the Oskaloosa Christian School gymnasium.

On Tuesday afternoon the 8th grade girls took on their cross town revivals at Oskaloosa Christian School and came out victorious by the score of 35-21. The beginning of the game had a competitive feel to it with a great crowd in attendance and all of the girls putting forth great effort. The girls came out in the first half ready to play and went up big by a score of 18-3. Coach Knoot and I have never seen our girls play such selfless man to man defense this entire season. We continued to get high percentage shots due to great passing and pushing the ball up the court on fast-breaks. Once the girls begin to win there seems to be more energy in their legs and the attention to detail has increased. We look forward to practice the rest of the week for improving our game as a team and as individuals. Go Indians!
