OMS Presidential Fitness Awards
Oskaloosa Middle School
The Oskaloosa Middle School held their third trimester awards ceremony. 13 students achieved the Presidential Fitness Award this spring. To achieve this award they must meet the criteria for their age and gender in the Mile run, Pushups, Curl-ups( Situps), Sit & Reach flexibility test and Shuttle Run test. The following students were awarded certificates for this achievement. 6th grade: Anna May Jones, Gracie Glasgow, Josie Bunnell and Vincent Ramirez. 7th grade: Sienna DeJong, Natalia James, Aubrey Miller and Kaity Richmond. 8th grade: Adam Carriker, Melanie Harvey, Tori Palmer, Sara Sanders and Maria Settimi. Maria Settimii was also honored for achieving the Presidential Fitness Award every time throughout her middle school career.
