NIGHT OF JAZZ TO SHOWCASE AREA BANDS

Oskaloosa High School Night of Jazz will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at the George Daily Auditorium. This year’s performance will feature six local jazz bands: William Penn University Jazz Band, North Mahaska Jazz, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Jazz, Oskaloosa Middle School Jazz, Oskaloosa Jazz Lab and Oskaloosa Jazz Ensemble. The bands will be performing selections from this year’s jazz competitions and will feature winning arrangements and outstanding soloists. The performance will begin at 7:00 pm. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. For more information, contact Rich Waddington at the Oskaloosa High School.
