Mahaska Health Expands Orthopaedics Team with Dr. Jem Hof, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist

Mahaska Health is proud to welcome Jem J. Hof, MD, a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist, to its Orthopaedics team. Dr. Hof brings more than three decades of experience in electro-diagnostics (EMGs), musculoskeletal medicine, joint and spine care, and complex rehabilitation to the community. Dr. Hof provides outpatient evaluation and treatment for stroke recovery, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic trauma, and functional impairments.

Dr. Hof earned his medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine and completed his PM&R residency at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics. His career includes leadership roles at the Sioux Falls and Des Moines VA Medical Centers, where he directed rehabilitation services for Veterans across the Midwest.
