Knoxville Snow Ordinance Is In Effect

Knoxville, Iowa – In anticipation of tonight’s snowfall, the City of Knoxville Snow Ordinance will go into effect at 7 p.m. on Thursday February 23, 2012. During the snow ordinance all on-street parking is prohibited. Any vehicle found parked on a City street may be ticked or towed. The snow ordinance will remain in effect until the storm ends AND the streets are cleared from curb to curb.

Everyone is encouraged to find off-street parking for their vehicles to allow the City to clean the streets of snow.
