Jacquiline Taylor, 66 of Lake Ponderosa near Montezuma, passed away Tuesday morning, May 31, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Jacquiline Sue Taylor, the daughter of James and Rexine (Dunn) Mondabough, was born November 2, 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Jackie was a 1969 graduate from North Polk High School. Following graduation Jackie attended cosmetology school in Des Moines, receiving her cosmetology license.

Jackie worked at various salons in the Des Moines area before becoming an instructor with the Iowa School of Beauty in Des Moines for a few years. She also worked at Computer Check and most recently Check and Go Cash.

Jackie was married to Chuck Moore on November 29, 1981 in Norwalk. They had a summer home at Lake Ponderosa for several years before moving to the lake full time in 2000.

Jackie was an excellent seamstress, sewing lots of clothing, costumes for the kids and wedding and prom dresses. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, her dogs, and above all spending time with family and friends at the lake.

Her family includes her husband, Chuck Moore of Montezuma; her children: Kayl (& Todd) Armstrong of New Virginia, Tom (& Chuck Cozad) Taylor of Grimes and Jim (& Carisa) Taylor of Menifee, CA; 11 grandchildren: Nick, Tyler, Mariah, Dillon, Amanda, Allison, Amy, Matt, Deven, Justin and Natalie; and a brother, Ronnie (& Maryann) Mondabough.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Bill Mondabough.

A visitation will be held Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the Norwalk Christian Church, 701 Main St., Norwalk, Iowa from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at 165 Horseshoe Dr. Montezuma, Iowa 50171. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of Montezuma is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made in the family’s name.
