Ending the Season with a Bang on the Kentfield Babe Ruth fields at Lacey.

Babe Ruth had its season ending tournament this past weekend at hte Lacey Recreation Complex. Ten teams competed in the double elimination bracket play. Osky White competed against the Osky Maroon team for the championship, with Osky Maroon conquering the title. Osky Maroon, being the number one seed, was upset early in the tournament by the Albia White Sox team. They then had to battle their way back to the championship. All 465 fans that came out to watch their favorite team became quickly immersed in the contagious excitement from the players and coaches. Despite the noticable humidity on Saturday and the unexpected rain on Sunday, all of the teams gave great efforts with every player giving 110 percent!
