Donna Crile, 69, of Oskaloosa, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, at the home of her son in Oskaloosa.
Donna Lee Crile, the fourth of eleven children born to Robert Lacey and Leola Julia (Miller) West, was born October 23, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The family moved to Delta when Donna was a young child, and it was there that she attended school.

Donna was united in marriage to Richard Michael “Mike” Crile on December 23, 1969, in Oskaloosa. Mike died on March 3, 2007.

For many years, they made their home in Delta, where Donna was busy raising their five children. In 1986, the family moved to Oskaloosa, and Donna worked part-time at Country Kitchen and Rodeway Inn. The job she enjoyed the most was volunteering at Mahaska County Outreach, where she served for more than 30 years.

Donna was a long-time member of St. John Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crocheting and watching Sci-Fi programs.

Donna’s family includes her children: Brian (& Darcy) Crile of Oskaloosa, Jason (& Tara) Crile of Naples, Italy; Willie Crile of North Liberty, IA; Michelle (& Shannon) Perry of Dixon, MO; and Mary (& Jeff) McCollum of Kirkville, IA; 16 grandchildren: Brian’s children: Chelsey, Brandon (& Ali), and Madeline; Jason’s children: Drew, Aidan, and Caitlin; Willie’s children: Mercedes, Konstanze, and Alleighsyn; Michelle’s children: Austin, Nicholas, Braden, Holden, and Michaelyn; and Mary’s children: Nathan and Sarina; and one great-grandson: Brandon’s son: Elliott.
She is also survived by her siblings: Steve (& Janice) West of Fremont, IA, Ron (& Sue) West of Sioux Falls, SD, Don West of Oskaloosa, Robert West of Oskaloosa, Bobbie West Trollinger Klejch of Diagonal, IA, Vicki Fritchen of Sigourney, IA, Julie Crile of New Sharon, IA, Leona Gravitt of Oskaloosa and Penny (& Kevin) Wiegand of New Sharon, IA.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mike, Donna was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie West.

Funeral Services for Donna will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Langkamp Funeral Chapel with Rev. Shannon Perry of the Santee Community Church officiating.
Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Monday; the family will greet visitors from 5-7 p.m., Monday evening.
Proper social distancing and appropriate personal protective equipment are advised for attending these public events.
The service will be available to view on the Langkamp Funeral Chapel’s YouTube channel Tuesday afternoon for those unable to attend the ceremony.
Memorial contributions can be made to Mahaska County Outreach.
