DCG Gets The Best Of The Indians
by Coach Jennifer Comfort
The Oskaloosa Indians had a rough night at Dallas Center-Grimes as all teams were swept. The Varsity team put up a fight but struggled to execute consistently losing 21-25, 14-25, 18-25. The Fillies are ranked #4 in 4A and the Indians are #13. The girls are doing really good things at times. When we play at a high level, we are unstoppable, but finding and creating the energy and intensity to consistently execute as a team has been an issue. We’ll get back to work and prepare for a tough Saturday at the Southeast Polk Tournament.
The JV team lost 18-25, 15-25. The Freshmen team lost 22-25, 12-25. The Freshmen were coming off a great weekend as CHAMPIONS of the Mount Pleasant Tournament!
