With Linus On The Mound, Oskaloosa Indians (Varsity) Shuts Out Tigers

Linus Morrison didn’t allow a single run against Tigers, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Oskaloosa Indians (Varsity) to a 3-0 victory on Monday
The pitching was strong on both sides. Morrison struck out three, while Tigers pitchers sat down six.
Oskaloosa Indians (Varsity) got things started in the first inning when Wyatt Grubb’s sac fly scored one run for Oskaloosa Indians (Varsity).
A single by Brooks Vosburg in the fifth inning was a positive for Tigers.
Morrison pitched Oskaloosa Indians (Varsity) to victory. The bulldog allowed four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out three.
Cole Blackford toed the rubber for Tigers. The bulldog allowed four hits and three runs over five innings, striking out six. Kamdon Harms threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Kam Criss, Aiden North, Grubb, and Spencer Vaughan each managed one hit to lead Oskaloosa Indians (Varsity). Oskaloosa Indians (Varsity) was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. North had the most chances in the field with five.
Vosburg went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Tigers in hits.
