William Penn University Names New Dean for CWA
Oskaloosa, IA – William Penn University names new Dean for the College for Working Adults.
Dr. Marjorie Welch returned to her alma mater in July of 2011 as the Associate Dean for the William Penn University College for Working Adults and was recently named full Dean for William Penn’s adult learning program.
Dr. Welch earned her Bachelor of Arts from William Penn in 1987. She then went on to receive her Master of Science degree from the University of Iowa in 1995 and earned her Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in May of 2011 from Iowa State University.
Her career in education and commitment to continuous improvement has propelled her career and led her to William Penn’s College for Working Adults. Her dedication to education has been a life-long relationship that she hopes to continue in her time at William Penn as the new Dean for the College for Working Adults.
