Great Conference Win! We were ready for this match and I felt we had a lot of excitement going into this match. As the match went on we were not putting forth our best mental attitude which felt like we were playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Changing that mindset around helped us serve better and make better decisions with the ball. Knoxville put up a good block at times along with scrappy play to keep themselves in the match all night. They had a couple of players that challenged our serve receive and we had to find a way to pass better off the serve which was inconsistent all night. Hopefully we can take this win and build upon the things we need to work on to get better because we are not at that point yet until we can find consistency in all aspects of our game. I am so proud of this team for pushing through when the score was close and everyone stepped up to make this win happen. We will keep working on getting better at our weak areas and look to improve our game at the Ottumwa Tournament this upcoming weekend.
