IGNITE Youth Group of the First Christian Reformed Church is looking forward to a June trip to Springfield, Missouri with World Renew Disaster Response Services to address flood damage from December flooding. To help fund their trip they will be sponsoring a Pancake Breakfast on Memorial Day, May 30 from 7 to 10 am. The community is invited to enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, sausages, cinnamon rolls, fruit and drink. An opportunity to give a free-will offering will be presented. First Christian Reformed Church is located at 815 N 11th Street, just south of Forest Cemetery where morning festivities will also be held for the community. Plan now to take in both events.

The group’s name “IGNITE” is based on 2 Timothy 1:6, “For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you.” It is the hope of the group that they may use their gifts in Springfield and that the folks their will feel the love of Jesus.

If you have any questions on IGNITE or the Pancake Breakfast, call the church at 641.673.4272 or email firstcrcosky@mahaska.org.
