OSKALOOSA, IA — The Ottumwa Bulldogs continued their unbeaten streak with a commanding 69-27 victory over the Oskaloosa Indians in high school football action on Friday night at Statesmen Community Stadium. The Bulldogs showcased their offensive firepower, racking up a staggering 619 total yards of offense to improve their record to 4-0 on the season.

Ottumwa wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, posting 14 points in the first quarter and a massive 35-point second quarter that effectively sealed the game before halftime. Oskaloosa, despite a valiant effort, couldn’t keep pace with the Bulldogs’ relentless attack.

Key Players and Performances

Ottumwa’s offensive machine was driven by running back Cameron Manary, who had a standout night, rushing for 216 yards on 19 carries and scoring four touchdowns. Manary’s longest run of the night came on an 86-yard touchdown sprint, showcasing his speed and agility. Koby Chanthalavanh added 139 rushing yards on 12 carries, scoring two touchdowns, while quarterback Matthew Mitchell contributed both on the ground and through the air. Mitchell threw for 169 yards and a touchdown on 6 of 7 passing and also added two rushing touchdowns of his own.
