Osky’s Heaton to be a Midland Warrior

Lake Heaton signed a national letter of intent to shoot at the collegiate level for Midland University in Fremont Nebraska.

Lake Heaton signed a national letter of intent to shoot at the collegiate level for Midland University in Fremont Nebraska.

Heaton has been a member of the Oskaloosa Shooting Team since 2008 with several State titles both as a team member and as a individual. He has also competed at the National level since 2009.

“The Oskaloosa Shooting Team is one of the best things I have ever done,” said Heaton. “It has taught me many life lessons, both on and off the field. I can’t thank my coaches enough for what they have taught me.”

“Midland will be a great fit for me, both for my shooting career and education.” Lake plans on majoring in Biology and Criminal Justice.
