Osky Boys Freshmen Fall Short At PC

The Oskaloosa boys freshman team was in action last Friday night against the Pella Christian Eagles for our first road test. We got off to a very slow start getting down 7-12 at the end of the first. The hoop was not our friend that night as we struggled making shots. Even though we struggled getting the ball in the hoop, the guys fought hard all night long. We ended up going into the half down 5. Coming out of the half, our defense brought the intensity forcing turnovers leading to fast break points. However, we came up just short at the end of the night, losing 39-43. This brings our record to 1-1. We look to bounce back this Friday at Indianola.
