Mahaska County League Soccer’s U14 girls competed against Pella at the Lacey Recreation Complex Wednesday evening. The end score resulted in a 3 to 3 tie as Pella scored a final goal in the last seconds of the game. It was a competitive game with both teams powerfully battling for the win. Osky girls scored three straight shots to the goal and Pella scored two and a penalty goal kick as a result of an Oskaloosa foul. The season ends next weekend with a soccer tournament scheduled at the complex on June 4th. Some of the teams will travel to Aimes the following week to complete in the Kohl’s cup.
