Oskaloosa Prevails In Rough Weather
Oskaloosa, Iowa – Mother Nature was making her own play Wednesday night as the Oskaloosa Indians took on the Centerville Big Red. Oskaloosa ended up claiming the soggy victory 21-14 over Centerville.
The rain and injury took it’s toll on the Indians, and Oskaloosa Head Coach Mike Sterner commented that the players continued to “fight and claw and play for 48 minutes.”
“Our defense hung in there and gave our offense a chance,” said Sterner. “We found something in Jared Pace.”
“We saw a lot of growth tonight,” Sterner said. “It was fun to play 48 minutes.”
Monday, November 4th, the Indians travel to Washington in round 2 of the play-offs. Game time will be at 7:00 pm.
