Oskaloosa Indians (Varsity) Stymied By Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Varsity

Oskaloosa Indians (Varsity) had trouble keeping up with Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Varsity in a 13-2 loss on Tuesday.
Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Varsity were the first to get on the board in the first when Clayton Campidilli doubled, scoring one run.
A double by Campidilli extended the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Varsity lead to 2-0 in the top of the third inning.
Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Varsity scored six runs on three hits in the top of the seventh inning. Trevor Hamil singled, scoring two runs, Ty Mikkelsen grounded out, scoring one run, Campidilli doubled, scoring two runs, and Eli Rupp drew a walk, scoring one run.
Logan Hoskinson began the game for Oskaloosa Indians (Varsity). They allowed three hits and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking one. Keaton Fenn stepped on the hill first for Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Varsity. The righty gave up zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking none.
Austen Coenen, Wyatt Grubb, Kam Criss, and Aiden North each collected one hit for Oskaloosa Indians (Varsity). Criss led Oskaloosa Indians (Varsity) with one run batted in. The infielder went 1-for-2 on the day.
Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Varsity collected 12 hits in the game. Campidilli led Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Varsity with three hits in four at bats. Dalton Bergthold, Hamil, and Logan Young each collected multiple hits for Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Varsity. Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Varsity had a strong eye at the plate, tallying nine walks for the game. Dayne Mauk, Mikkelsen, Tate Perrin, and Rupp led the team with two walks each.
