Oskaloosa Cub Scouts Fall Recruitment

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Oskaloosa Cub Scout Packs 71 & 77 will be having their annual fall recruitment event on Tuesday, September 18th at Penn Central Mall Center Court. The event will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with Mid-Iowa Council holding presentation on Cub Scouts Program. Boys in 1st grade through 5th grade are able to sign up.

This is an opportunity for prospective scouts and their parents/guardians to visit with representatives from local Cub Scout Packs and learn more about Cub Scouting in Oskaloosa. If interested, scouts can sign-up for the 2012 – 2013 year. Boy Scouts of America provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun.
