Oskaloosa Bowling Has Split Results

by Tony Witt

The Osky boys and girls split both of the matches Thursday. They both best
Des Moines Roosevelt and lost to Ottumwa.

The girls were led by Sydney Thompson and Ava Ridenour who continue to improve with each meet they bowl in.

The boys lost to Ottumwa by just 7 pins. It was a close one and came down to the last frame of the baker games for the boys but came up just a little short.

They averaged 204 a game for the five baker games, and Trey VanWyk led the way in the singles competition with games of 237 and 268 for a 2-game series of 505.

I still can’t stress enough that every spare and every pin matters.
