Markham selected to D3football.com team

PELLA — Amidst an impressive team offensive performance, Central College wide receiver Sam Markham (senior, Atlantic) earned a spot on the D3football.com team of the week.
The Dutch piled up 606 yards of total offense in a 52-27 win over Nebraska Wesleyan University over the weekend and Markham was responsible for 185 yards. He needed just eight catches to reach 171 yards, including a 74-yard scoring grab. He also had two carries for 14 rushing yards.
So far this year, Markham leads the team with 24 catches for 349 yards and three touchdowns.
A road contest awaits the Dutch Saturday in Indianola against Simpson College starting at 1 p.m.
