Marion County accident claims the life of 1
Iowa State Patrol Squad Car
Approximately 7:40 last evening, 52 year old Brenda Lea Devries was driving Northeast on T-15 in Marion County. Devries lost control of her 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pickup when she lost control on the curve. The pickup left the roadway causing the vehicle to roll.
Devries was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Knoxville Fire & Rescue and the Knoxville Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
