Jackie F. Scott age 78, formerly of the Farson/Hedrick area, passed away February 22, 2011, at Genesis West Hospital in Davenport, Iowa. He was born, August 21, 1932, near Hedrick, Iowa to Earl and Dorothy Deuser Scott. He attended Farson High School graduating in 1952. Jackie served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from John Deere Planter Works after 26 ½ years. He is survived by a sister, Agnes Owings of Bolivar, Missouri; a niece, Linda (Bruce) Stauff of Canton, Georgia; and his ex-wife and special friend, Marjory Chase Scott of Davenport, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother-in-law, Lawrence Owings.
