Visitation: Visitation will start at 12:00 p.m. with the family present from 1-2 p.m. May 24, 2011 at Garland-Van Arkel Langkamp Funeral Chapel.
Graveside Service: 2 p.m., Tuesday afternoon, May 24, 2011 at Forest Cemetery. A procession will start at Garland-Van Arkel-Langkamp Funeral Chapel at 1:45.
Georgia was born July 3, 1909 in Barnes City, Iowa, the daughter of William and Edna Grubb. Georgia attended country school and then graduated from Barnes City High School in 1926. On January 6, 1927 Georgia was united in marriage to Joe Passalia. They had one daughter, Kathleen. After high school Georgia went to work as a clothier for Younkers, Alsups, and Holtons. In 1975 Joe passed away and in 1977 Kathleen passed away. Georgia stayed in Oskaloosa, where she enjoyed being with her nieces and nephews and friends. Georgia was a member of the St. Paul Congregational Church and a member of the Kings Daughters.

Survivors include her niece, Dorothy and Don Denney of Oskaloosa, IA, and two nephews Ron and Erma Curry of Grinnell, IA and Lesla and Mary Curry of Deep River, and many great-nieces and nephews.

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her daughter Kathleen, and two sisters, Virgle Malan and Vira Curry.
