Boswell announces $1.1 million grant to improve Iowa highway safety

Des Moines, IA – Congressman Leonard Boswell (IA-3) today announced the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has awarded the Iowa Governor’s Traffic Safety Bureau a grant totaling $1,160,898.90.
“This critical funding will help support the state’s traffic safety programs which work to prevent and reduce accidents and fatalities on Iowa roadways,” said Boswell, who serves on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
