Blue Zones Project: Oskaloosa Needs Your Support‏

Healthiest State Initiative

Oskaloosa, Iowa – You are invited to pledge your support of Oskaloosa in the Blue Zones Project (the healthy state initiative causing such a stir). Of the 900 communities in Iowa only 10 will be selected to receive direct support from the Blue Zones Project Team. We want Oskaloosa to be one of those ten!

It’s simple! Just follow this link (or copy and paste) http://www.bluezonesproject.com/citizens/signup and answer a couple questions…or text BZP to 772937. It won’t cost you anything other than a minute or two of your time. And when you’re through, forward this email to your friends and family.

Enthusiasm is being measured by the number of residents who pledge to participate. About 17% of Oskaloosa residents have pledged – and we have 13% more to go (1,500 more people)!

Haven’t heard of the Blue Zones Project? More information can be found at the link above or call Dawn at the YMCA (641.673.8411) or Brianne Fitzgerald at United Way (641.673.6043).
