Assaud Earns NAIA Scholar-Athlete Accolade
Oskaloosa–Statesmen men’s golfer Francois Assaud (Sr., Montelimar, France, Sports Management) was recognized for his academic achievements by being named a 2024-2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
Assaud entered the spring semester with a 3.52 Grade Point Average. It is his first career laurel.
To be eligible for the award, athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, have attended the nominating institution for one full year prior to nomination, and must appear on the sport’s eligibility paperwork.
