The new Golden Gander Club is bringing men together to pool financial resources and support projects that benefit Oskaloosa and Mahaska County.

Musco has opened a new manufacturing facility in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, to produce lighting systems for youth recreation fields, stadiums and other sports venues across the region.

The Mahaska Health Foundation will hold the 15th Annual Run in the Sun on Saturday, Aug. 1, at Statesmen Community Stadium in Oskaloosa. Proceeds will support Hospice Serenity House.

The Oskaloosa Public Library sealed a time capsule containing 22 envelopes of photographs, memories, and local history as part of America’s 250th anniversary.
