2014 Community Investment Grant applications available now

United Way of Mahaska County

United Way of Mahaska County

The United Way of Mahaska County’s Community Investment Grant applications are now available at unitedwaymahaksa.org. It’s the time of year where donor dollars are put into action at organizations throughout Mahaska County.

In the past, the United Way of Mahaska County has received around $100,000 more in request than can be funded so deciding where donor dollars go can be difficult. In January, a group of community members will come together to make the tough decisions.

Applicants for funding must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Mahaska County. No funding will be allocated to programs outside of our county.

Applications are due to the United Way of Mahaska County office by Monday, January 6, 2014 at noon. No late submissions will be accepted. If you have more than one program requesting funding please complete separate applications for each program.

For more information on the grant process, or to be a part of the Community Investment Team, please contact Executive Director Amy Langdon at 641.673.6043 or unitedway@mahaska.org.
