Zumba Returns to Mahaska County YMCA
Oskaloosa, March 19, 2012 – The countdown is on at the Mahaska County YMCA in anticipation of Zumba’s return on April 3, 2012. Fitness Instructor Stephanie Hasken has taken the reigns as lead instructor for the Zumba classes, to be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Y from 6-6:45pm. Both members and non-members of the Y are welcome to attend the Zumba offerings, with members participating with a Classic or Premium membership and non-members joining in on the fun with a daily drop-in rate.
Fitness Director Ryan Harkema said, “The YMCA has worked hard in recent months to find a suitable Zumba Fitness Instructor, and the addition of Stephanie makes our fitness staff and schedule as strong as ever.” Stephanie comes to the Mahaska County YMCA courtesy of the Physical Education Department at Central College. She plays soccer and basketball at the school, and has spent time working alongside the Strength and Conditioning professionals there.
