WPU Remains 11th in NAIA

Oskaloosa–The William Penn men’s lacrosse team continues to hover just outside the top 10 as the NAIA released its third poll Wednesday.

The Statesmen (9-4, 2-0 Heart) again hold an unofficial ranking of #11 with 36 points.

William Penn is one of four teams from the Heart of America Athletic Conference in the poll. Benedictine moves into the ranking at #10, while Mount Vernon Nazarene (#15) and St. Ambrose (#17) again join WPU in the receiving votes section.

Keiser (Fla.) continues to be #1 in the country with 98 points and all eight first-place votes. Reinhardt (Ga.), Webber International (Fla.), Concordia (Mich.), and Indiana Tech round out the top five.

William Penn travels to Columbia, Mo. Thursday to take on Columbia in non-conference play at 7 p.m.
