Vrishali Sinha named MWC Women’s Golfer of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa – Vrishali Sinha ’19 led Grinnell College’s women’s golf team to a school record score on Sunday, and today has been rewarded for her efforts.

Sinha, from Gurgaon, Haryana, India (Shri Ram School), has been named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week. The All-American, who is also a two-time All-Region selection, guided the Pioneers to a score of 309 in a dual meet win over William Penn University. That topped the previous school best of 314.

Sinha won the individual title with a 1-under-par 71, shooting 1-under 35 on the front nine and even par on the back.
