Volunteers Help Prepare for Fall Sports

This group of volunteers recently helped sort soccer balls at the Lacey Complex (photo submitted)

More volunteers made their way out to the Lacey Recreation Complex on Saturday August 20th. Mahaska County Soccer Club and YMCA Youth Football began practices this week and they are now in full swing. In preparation for the fall season, 22 volunteers from the two user groups have given almost 120 hours of their time to volunteer. Mahaska Community Recreation Foundation would like to thank all the volunteers for their help in preparing the fields. We appreciate the dedication our community has offered to the Lacey Recreation Complex.
