Three Statesmen Ranked as NAIA Releases First Poll

Oskaloosa–Lane Scorpil (Sr., Columbus Junction, Iowa, Business Management) continues to be ranked in the top 10 as the NAIA released its first set of polls this week.

Scorpil is again ninth nationally at 133 pounds, while William Penn is tied for 38th as a team with 18 points.

Grand View leads the nation with 241 points, while Southeastern (Fla.) (199), Indiana Tech (192), Life (Ga.) (178), and Campbellsville (Ky.) (174) round out the top five.

Within the Heart of America Athletic Conference, the navy and gold are 10th with 32 points. Grand View tops the standings with 209 points.

Scorpil is fifth in the league, as is Ashton Hayhurst (Jr., Evansville, Ind., Sociology) at 157 pounds. 141-pounder Brody Brisker (Fr., Wilton, Iowa, Sports Management) is seventh as well.
