Statesmen of the Week: Koby Higginbotham and Piper Fowler

Oskaloosa–Koby Higginbotham (Fr., Knoxville, Iowa, Exercise Science) and Piper Fowler (Fr., Cleveland, Tenn., Psychology) have been named the Statesmen of the Week for the week of January 26-February 1.

Higginbotham started his collegiate career with an event win at the Grinnell Invitational last Saturday. He took the 60-meter hurdle crown with a time of 8.04 seconds that eclipsed the NAIA’s ‘B’ standard.

Fowler was also a champion last Saturday, earning the 180-pound crown at the Midland Open. She was 4-0 on the day, including two falls, one technical fall, and one decision.
