Statesmen Hold at #5
Oskaloosa–No upsets meant no movement at the top as the third NAIA top-25 football poll was released today.
William Penn (5-0, 2-0 MWL) remains #5 with 286 points, gaining one point from last week.
The top nine teams all stayed put, so with all 15 first-place votes, Saint Xavier (Ill.) from the Mid-States Football Association’s Mideast League continues to guide the NAIA, while St. Francis (Ind.), Marian (Ind.), and Carroll round out the top five.
The Midwest League is also represented well in the top 25 with St. Francis (Ill.) up to #16 and St. Ambrose improving to #20. Grand View is unofficially 31st.
William Penn travels to Bourbonnais, Ill. to face Olivet Nazarene in MWL action at 1:30 p.m.
