Statesmen Head into Nationals Receiving Votes
Oskaloosa–The William Penn women’s golf team is the 28th team in the country leading into the national tournament as the NAIA released its final top-25 poll Friday.
William Penn improved three spots from the last poll and now has 47 points. The squad has been in the receiving votes section for the entire 2024-2025 year.
WPU is again one of two Heart of America Athletic Conference programs in the poll. Park is the other, sitting unofficially 26th in the nation.
British Columbia is No. 1 in the NAIA with 434 points and 13 first-place votes, while Keiser (Fla.) is second with the final three first-place ballots. SCAD-Savannah (Ga.), Dalton State (Ga.), and Oklahoma City round out the top five.
William Penn travels to Ypsilanti, Mich. from May 13-16 to compete in the NAIA National Championship.
