Statesmen End Fall in Receiving Votes Section

Oskaloosa–The William Penn women’s golf team’s will enter the spring campaign as a program in the receiving votes area as the NAIA released its second poll Thursday.

William Penn slipped one position from the last rating and now sits 32nd in the NAIA with 12 points. WPU posted two team victories during the fall along with three runner-up finishes.

The Statesmen are one of two programs from within the Heart of America Athletic Conference in the poll as Park heads the league at #29.

Keiser (Fla.) is still #1 in the NAIA with 447 points and 13 first-place votes, while British Columbia continues in the runner-up position with the final four first-place ballots. SCAD Savannah (Ga.), Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), and Marian (Ind.) complete the nation’s top five.
