Seddon Opens Junior Year with POW Award

Oskaloosa–Derek Seddon (Jr., Knoxville, Iowa, Physical Education) and his dual qualification over the weekend helped him earn Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors Monday.
Seddon collected his fifth career award as he dominated the throwing events at the Central Dutch Holiday Preview last Saturday
The junior won the weight throw with an NAIA ‘A’ standard mark of 55-8, breaking his old school record. Seddon also placed first in the shot put as he met the national provisional standard at 49-9.75.
